(1-5-13) Insomnia by Christopher Nolan

  Insomnia was my least favorite Nolan movie, which isn't saying a lot because I fucking love Christopher Nolan movies, but Insomnia didn't really feel like it was done by Nolan. It didn't seem to have his mark on it and that for me was the most disappointing part of it all for me. I was expecting this great twist and incredible ending, but instead I got what was expected and maybe that is because the film is a remake and Nolan didn't write it, but still I was expecting a little more considering this movie was made after Memento. I really liked Hilary Swank in the movie, but for seem reason Al Pacino really pissed me off the entire movie and Robin Williams plays a part that doesn't fit him what so ever. The movie is put together really well, it just doesn't feel like Nolan to me. I am giving this one a 6.5/10.
