(1-1-13) Django Unchained by Quentin Tarantino

  New Year's day I went with some family to go see Django Unchained and let me just say Quentin Tarantino never disappoints. This is a must see movie for any Tarantino fan and though it may not be Tarantino's best work I would defiantly rank it third behing Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, which is saying a lot considering how great Jackie Brown, Kill Bill, and Inglorious Basterds are. I found the mixture of humor and action to be perfect as Tarantino creates a modernized western. I'd give this movie a 9/10 because I'm always so damned impressed with Tarantino's writing ability. If you are new to the name Tarantino this is a good movie to get started with and hopefully you can enjoy his other works as well.
