(1-3-13) Death Proof by Quentin Tarantino
Death Proof is a Tarantino movie that is very forgettable to me. I thought the plot of this movie could have been executed a lot better but the overall idea of what Tarantino was trying to go for was pretty neat. My big problem is the movie is only 2 hours long and when the first 35-40 minutes of it takes place in a bar, where the story line doesn't develop what so ever it just was disappointing. I felt like this movie was just rushed and maybe I'm being critical of Tarantino because honestly there are some cool parts of the movie, but for the most part it just felt rushed and the writing didn't seem like the classic Tarantino we would expect. I'm going to give this movie a 5.5/10. I might have been disappointed in the writing, but the cinematography that Tarantino uses to make it look like an old grind house movie is pretty damn cool.
